India, China to conduct joint military exercises from December 10

The Chinese and Indian armies will hold a joint 14-day drill starting Dec. 10 in the southwestern city of Chengdu to improve their anti-terrorism capabilities and promote mutual understanding.

The seventh joint military exercises of India and China, “Mano a mano”, will focus on counter-terrorism operations.

The exercises will be carried out after a lapse of one year, since both parties were locked in a 73-day confrontation in Doklam in the Sikkim sector on the border in 2017.
